Gladiator fights distracted the Romans from all their problems; which isn’t to smart. Modern day sports distract America from all their problems. For example; boxing is like gladiator fights because it involves fighting with one another. So we haven’t changed much since the time of the Romans. People, like me really like violence. People now days are a little different, because we don’t see people killing each other. Just fighting with each other.
